Lilian odira emerged the winner of 800m finals in the World Athletics champioships in Tokyo, Japan.
odira won in 1.54.62, setting a new chmpionship record. she overtook Georgia Hunter bell and Keely Hodgkinson in the final 30 meters.
she beat Mary Moraa who came in a distant seventh while Sarah moraa was placed fourth.
Odira bagged the seventh Gold for Kenya as the event is a wrap.
