Chepkemoi wins 3000m steeplechase in Nakuru Afraha stadium

Diana Chepkemoi  from Lemotit camp rule the roost at the 4th Athletic Kenya (AK) Track and field weekend meeting in women 3000m steeplechase on Friday evening.

Chepkemeoi won the first medal in a newly tartan track was timed 9.38.0 ahead of Celestine Biwot clocking 9.39.5 as Winny Chepteek closed the top three timed 10.16.8.

In 5000m Cynthia Chepngeno emerged the winner clocking 15.28.6 while Gladys Jeptepkeny was timed 15.29.6 in second place, followed by Cynthia Chepkurui in third position timing 15.29.9.
