| Raymond Cheruiyot celebrates his win in Nairobi |
World Indoor 1,500m champion Abel Kipsang and compatriot Reymond Kipkorir Cheruiyot sailed to the 1,500m final at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The two will be the only Kenyans in the finals after it was a disappointment for former champion Timothy Cheruiyot who failed to make the cut for the finals.
Kipsang finished second in heat 1 in 3:32.52 to qualify while Kipkorir was 6th in heat 2 at 3:35.53.
While Cheruiyot clocked 3:37.40 to miss the cut
