1st track and field weekend meet slated for 14th and15th February at Mumias Sports complex stadium, in Mumias, setting the stage for 2025 track and field season.
The event will feature 100m men and women, 200m men and women, 400m men and women, 800m men and women, 1500m men and women, 5000m men and women, 3000m steeple chase men and women, long jump, triple jump, javelin and shot put for both men and women respectively.
There will be lucrative prize money for top three winners in all category courtesy of betika.com, first position will get 20000 kshs. 2nd position 15000 kshs, as the third position gets 10000kshs.
All athletes are encouraged to collect their bib numbers on thursday 13th February at venue of event ,there will be no registration and issuance of bib numbers on the event day.
The event will start at 9.00am in the morning and end at 6.00pm in the evening.
