Former world cross country champion Agnes Tirop was laid to rest on Saturday at her home village Kapnyemisa in Nandi County.
Tirop was found with stab wounds at her house in Iten.Her husband who is the main suspect has since been arrested.
During her burial, top athletes eulogized her.Olympic marathon winner Peris Jepchirchir revealed what Agnes had told her before she died.
